Robert Pan

Robert Pan is born in Bolzano in 1969. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Urbino from 1987 to 1991. Between 1991 and 1992 he moved to Paris for a study stay, then to Brixton, London, to the studio of sculptor Bruce Juttel King. In 1992 he went to New York on a scholarship, staying there for four years. Since 2013 he has lived and worked in Miami, Florida, where he moved permanently from 2014 to 2017. He currently lives and works in Bolzano.

He has exhibited in several solo exhibitions in national and international galleries, as well as in institutions such as, in 2010, Constellation at Museion, Bolzano; in 2019, The Way of Seeing, Alien Art Centre, Taiwan; in 2011, as part of the 54th ͣVenice Biennial, he took part in Lo Stato dell’Arte Regioni d’Italia, and, in 2009, Artifici contemporanei e difformità barocche, ARCOS, Museo d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea del Sannio/Benevento. In 2018, he won the Artist of the Year competition promoted by HGV in Bolzano. Since 1995 his work has been part of the Banca Commerciale Italiana Comit Collection in Milan, since 1996 in the Salzburger Kredit und Wechsel Bank Collection in Salzburg, since 1998 in the Thun Collection, since 1999 in the Kambly Art Collection. Since 2007 he was in the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art Collection in San Marino and since 2010 in the Mango Collection in Barcelona. In 2012 he joined the Olor Visual Collection in Barcelona and in 2013 the Museion Collection. In 2014 he is in the Benetton Art Collection, Treviso and in 2015 in the Andrea Fendi Collection. In 2019 he joins the Valerie Rademacher Collection, London, and 2021 the Antonio Carlos Pipponzi Collection in São Paulo, Brazil.
