“Senza Titolo” (Untitled) is not neutrality.
It is a form of distancing.
From the need to construct a synthesis, to force a connection, to reduce different practices to a shared discourse. In this sense, Senza Titolo becomes an act of subtraction and of failed synthesis: a deliberate suspension of any attempt at a singular definition.
The works in the exhibition do not share a theme or a clear direction. They proceed separately, along autonomous trajectories, at times incompatible with one another. The only condition they have in common is having passed through the same space over the gallery’s exhibition year, between September 2025 and May 2026. Different artists, different moments, presences that inhabited the gallery space, leaving behind temporary traces. The exhibition arises from this minimal coincidence, from an almost accidental coexistence of works that do not necessarily seek dialogue.
It does not attempt to order or harmonize, but to expose a coexistence. The works remain intact; they are neither absorbed into a system nor bent toward a single reading. They come close, ignore one another, at times enter into friction, without this producing a stable relationship or a shared narrative. Even the installation avoids constructing a linear path: it makes proximity visible, not structure.
If a thread emerges, it has not been imposed.
If a shared meaning surfaces, it is most likely a byproduct.
Senza Titolo thus becomes a suspension: of synthesis, of hierarchy, of the very idea that an exhibition must necessarily hold together what it presents. Or perhaps, more simply, a way of accepting that some things can share the same space without needing to coincide.
