BRUMAS | Elizabeth Aro
In her first personal exhibition at Nuova Galleria Morone, Elizabeth Aro presents a set of artworks that emphasize her constant attention to the dexterity and the variety of materials used to create the works. Brumas is the title of a large graphite drawing (240 cm x 240 cm x 160 cm, 2014/2018) in which the temperature of the fog and the uncertain light of the early morning appear, when the forest is suspended in moisture in a light without sun. It is placed on the black wall and converses with Estudio de Nubes, 56 graphite drawings (cm 20 x cm 20, 2014/2018), where the sky’s movement between flashes of light and darkness acts as a counterpoint to the Brumas wood.
