LOUNGE N.2: Gramáticas del contacto | Pipo Hernández Rivero

The artworks of Pipo Hernandéz Rivero (Gran Canaria, 1966) question every existing cultural certainty. They emphasize the complexity of the possibilities of painting in the 21st century, questioning its boundaries and the perception of the value of art by stressing its traditional notions and proposing a revision of painting starting from formal and conceptual structures which subtend references to the failure of artistic vanguards. Eros Bonamini (Verona 1942-2012) made his first appearance in the contemporary art scene during the mid-seventies, in the field of research related to analytical painting. His first exhibitions took place in Verona at Galleria dello Scudo and Galleria Ferrari, which, for some years, followed closely his work. In her first personal exhibition at Nuova Galleria Morone, Elizabeth Aro presents a set of artworks that emphasize her constant attention to the dexterity and the variety of materials used to create the works. Brumas is the title of a large graphite drawing (240 cm x 240 cm x 160 cm, 2014/2018) in which the temperature of the fog and the uncertain light of the early morning appear, when the forest is suspended in moisture in a light without sun.
